How to Help
STOP the BULLET! (STB) is a peace initiative in Kenya’s Mathare Valley ghetto with global implications; developed by young community leaders to transcend poverty and conflict through the arts, local media and dialogue. Help STOP the BULLET! continue its peace building work with a donation today.
Why This Matters
The post-election violence that followed the 2007 General Elections scorched Mathare Valley, and has opened the eyes of many. The unexpected has happened, and the need to prevent future conflicts is crucial. National elections are on March 4, 2013. Help us STOP the BULLET!

What We Do
- Engage ghetto residents in an on-going community dialogue between all social groups (including past and potential future perpetrators) within the ghettos on past and current conflicts
- Inform ghetto residents through arts and civic participation of national electoral processes
- Help these groups to develop tools to address conflicts as they emerge
